The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is one of the major bridges that links the city of Oakland to San Francisco. It was originally built November 12, 1936 and improved with it’s release in 2013.
The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is a beautiful bridge that has gone through a lot over the years. It has been through damages from major earthquakes and now rebuilt in a new stronger structure with a beautiful redesign. You can read more about the history here and more information for travel guiding here.
As of 2015, I’ve had the chance to drive through the improved beauty and structure of this busy bridge. I normally don’t pass through this bridge but it was a great experience. A lot of people pass through here since more people go in and out from the East Bay.
I’ve added a few photos into the gallery during the beautiful golden hour. You also see the skyline of city buildings including the highest points of the bridge. It’s a great experience to drive through this bridge but also a better experience to drive or walk through the famous San Francisco Golden Gate bridge. If you ever get the chance, do drive or walk through the Golden Gate bridge because it’s a beautiful site to see and it’s more relaxing.
The best view to look at the bridge from within the city of San Francisco would be from the Embarcadero Center.
It’s a great tourist and entertainment spot filled with many cafes, restaurants, and activities to do and view. There’s also many residents who live within the area, many offices home to well known companies, and many parks and long streets to walk across and exercise in.
