MARIN HEADLANDS

At Marin headlands outside in the afternoon overseeing the Golden Gate bridge.

One of the most beautiful viewpoint areas to view the Golden Gate bridge is from the north side of the Bay Area. The Marin headlands and the Golden Gate bridge view area is always packed with people and tourists from all over the world. On most days it is usually cold, foggy, and windy but you would be lucky to experience a beautiful sunny day to see a crystal clear view of the city.

The Golden Gate Bridge connects the city of San Francisco to the North Bay. It is one of the two bridges that connects to the city, aside the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. The Golden Gate bridge is important and one of northern California’s most popular world-wide places to see. Read on about the history and and timeline about this beautiful bright colored bridge coming to life.

Marin Headlands is part of the Golden Gate national recreation area. There are a lot of trees, army forts, lighthouse, trails, and educational centers. Marin Headlands is closer to the coast with all the beaches and coves and beautiful sights of the bridge. I highly recommend this wonderful area because of the beautiful high views of the bridge and peaceful serene area.
