An interesting mix of fruits in a tea was all discovered when my Mother encouraged me to drink Ginger Lemon tea. Ginger mixed with lemon in tea is known to be great especially for a flu season and with this ongoing challenging time. There was one more Lipton tea bag in the the pantry of the Lipton Orange Passionfruit Jasmine Green Tea flavor and she came up with an amazing great idea to mix it with Simply Lemonade, water, and fresh shredded ginger. I promise you that you will love the interesting mix of this Orange Lemon Ginger Passion Jasmine Green Tea with an optional added bonus in the end if you love passionfruit! If you are ready and interested to continue on, read along for the following ingredients and instructions on how to make below.
INGREDIENTS
(For 1 cup serving)
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup Simply Lemonade
- 1 Lipton Orange Passionfruit Jasmine Green Tea bag
- 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger–shredded or cut into small pieces
DIRECTIONS
- Sprinkle or cut into pieces–1 teaspoon of ginger into a cup
- Pour in a ½ cup of water
- Pour in a ½ cup of lemonade
- Place 1 Lipton Orange Passionfruit Jasmine Green Tea bag into the cup
- Microwave for 2 minutes
After you remove your drink from the microwave, let it sit to steep and cool–to absorb more flavor from the ginger and tea bag. If you would like to add a zing of taste try adding the TAZO Passion Herbal Tea by placing an additional tea bag in before you microwave.
