The La Roche-Posay Serum comes in a wide variety of choices for specific concerns to your skincare needs. Always evolving, some of the newer serums have been released recently this year (2020) as noted in the La Roche-Posay official website under their about section. The most recent three include the Hyalu B5, Retinol B3, & Vitamin C. There are other two important ones which are the Mela-D pigment control and the Effaclar serum.

Sometimes you will ask yourself if it might not work because it is so new they still have to add some tweaks and corrections to the formula complex, but then again all skins types are different. I was happy with my experience with the Vitamin C that it was just perfect because I saw results immediately and corrected the concern I was intending to fix. I figured that since it is a very new recent serum with probably the best most advanced complex year to date, I should get the other ones since it’s effectiveness has proven true for me.

With the amazing sale going on I went ahead and was even more encouraged to buy them all right away besides already being so obsessed with this brand. Most importantly, I wanted to protect and care for my skin eternally and upkeep a youthful look. The following 5 serums are currently available in a 1.0 fl. oz. glass bottle that comes with a glass dropper you can switch over to from the cap that comes with it packaged.

SERUM TYPES

Mela-D
This pigment control concentrated serum is for visible dark spots, age spots, skin discolorations, uneven skin tones (even scars). This strong alpha hydroxy acid serum has a combination of 3 key complexes: Kojic Acid (lighting), Glycolic Acid (exfoliating), and Lipo-Hydroxy Acid (micro-exfoliating). It is recommended to wear sunscreen over if you are out in the sun or at bedtime at night away as much as possible from UV rays and better and longer time absorption when sleeping.

Effaclar Serum
This is a pore refining anti-aging serum. It great if you have concerns for fine lines, visible pores, and a rough skin texture. This alpha hydroxy acid serum has a combination of Glycolic Acid (exfoliating), Hyluronic Acid (plumping), and Lipo-Hydroxy Acid (micro-exfoliating). Wear sunscreen over if you are out and about in the sun during the daytime and consider applying at night before bedtime for more time and better absorption while asleep.

Hyalu B5
This is an anti-aging concentrate serum for repairing and re-plumping the skin. Hyluronic acid is greatly known to fix fine lines, loss of volume, elasticity, and dehydrated dry skin. There are two types of pure hyluronic acid complexes in this serum: B5 and Madecassoside. The texture of this serum is very thick and less watery which gives a better absorption hold. Apply both day and night and results for bounce, suppleness, a hydrated, and a revived complexion will result soon depending on your skin type and reaction.

Retinol B3
This is an anti-wrinkle concentrate renewing and resurfacing serum for primary concerns of lines, wrinkles, and premature sun damage: uneven skin tone. There are two complexes in this serum: pure retinol and gradual release retinol that gradually works for anti-aging. There is also B3 and glycerin which helps renew skin by erasing out lines, wrinkles, and providing a more luminous complexion.

Vitamin C
The anti-wrinkle concentrate renovating antioxidant serum is great for concerns of wrinkles, lack of radiance, and uneven skin texture. The complex in this vitamin C includes neurosensine, salicylic acid, and pure vitamin C 10%. Results make skin more radiant, softer, and hydrated. Skin is smoother and wrinkles are visibly reduced while also making the skin tone look even and balanced out. Preferably apply in the daytime after cleansing the face following up with SPF over after for protection.

CONCLUSION

I definitely recommend these serums as they are very effective and worth the money to spend on for. Bank in on a brand that will be key specific for skincare because the skincare is likely to be a success due to it’s specific category complex. Be wary of some products from brands that are a mix of both makeup and skincare or with extremely expensive marketing–more expensive doesn’t always mean effective and could be a hit or miss. In the end, it always depends on your skin and what complex or brand that works best for you.
