It’s another year again writing to you about my birthday gift wish list and recommendations that you are sure to love. For this year, most of my birthday gift wish list includes mainly beauty and home items. These items are what I need, would like to try, and things I’ve tried and recommend to you. I’ve chosen my top 10 this year with links to purchase the product and to read more information all about it in no particular order.

First off, I would like to start off with the Olay Eyes Collagen Peptide 24 Eye Cream. My mom was talking to me all about the Olay Collagen Peptide 24 collection when she first heard about it on a talk show. They were saying it was new, what it can do, and all that jazz. So she went ahead and bought the two pack moisturizer and gave me one to try. After only a few days I saw the moisturizer work it’s magic and tah-dah results were in. The moisturizer is very effective and so I made every effort to get the serum and face wash. The only thing I need is the eye cream, so if the others work–this will definitely work.
Now let’s talk about those eyes–your lashes and your brows. There was a blogger talking about how effective the Neulash serum was vs. Revitalash. I know there’s more brands out there but I know of these two and hear about them quite a lot. I am curious to try the Neulash enhancing serum for lashes and brows though, and have yet to try the others. Do let me know your experience and comment on what you recommend below if you’ve tried them.
With all these serums and skincare items, I have a clear glass tray that holds them all in my bathroom. That clear glass tray needs a major update and so that’s why I’ve been on the hunt for a white tray to complete a clean minimalistic look for the bathroom. I’ve decided it can be white or white marble made of resin or ceramic material but should be basic, classic, with clean edges. The Draft 12 in. Holder in White from Kohler seems to be fitting, but decisions-decisions because there’s more to choose from in different sizes and marble patterns.
Now going onto makeup, there’s a ton of items I am eyeing on from my two favorite brands Chanel and Charlotte Tilbury. Starting with Chanel, there’s three types of powders that I use and recommend. They are the Highlighting Powder Compact (10 Ivory Gold, 20 Warm Gold, 40 White Opal), Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder (30), Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous Color Powder Bronzer & Highlighter (Medium). All the colors mentioned in parentheses are what I need replenishing on and these powders go on smoothly and naturally which is great for highlighting, skin tone, and bronzing. Charlotte Tilbury also makes a powder compact that is very high quality and goes on well flawlessly smooth and they are the Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder (Medium) and Airbrush Flawless Finish Bronzing Powder (Medium).
And last but not least, is the Aerin Mediterranean Honeysuckle Perfume. I first discovered the scent of this smell when I received a flyer somewhere. I always loved my Aerin Lilac Path and was curious about the other scents but had the rare opportunity to smell this one and really loved it. I would say Mediterranean Honeysuckle is great for summer as Lilac Path is more for spring. I would love to own a full size bottle of the Mediterranean Honeysuckle as it is something I can wear for the long term. I am a sucker for fragrances and people who smell good.
